About Us
ISSP in collaboration with other humanitarian organization contributed in the thematic sectors included WASH, Education, Health, women empowerment and emergency response for host community, IDP’s and Afghan Refugees.
ISSP effectively worked for rehabilitation and reconstruction of Earth Quake 2015 affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
ISSP is an active Clusters Partner and has been remained actively involved in responding to militancy related IDP crises. ISSP in coordination with its humanitarian partners provided basic facilities that included drinking water, sanitation and hygiene of the IDPs affected areas.
Since 2012 ISSP has successfully implemented several projects in the sector of WASH, Education, Health, women empowerment for the host communities as well for the Afghan Refugees.
Objectives
- Ensure equitable access to safe and quality basic facilities / services to marginalize and disaster affected communities.
- Improve Socio-economic conditions of the most vulnerable communities.
- Organize and strengthen community organizations in the communities to self reliance.
- Increase awareness in the communities regarding health and hygiene and contribute in decreasing mortality with focus on infant mortality.
- Strengthen and mainstream the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in the communities.
- Facilitate and empower most vulnerable groups to cope up with various natural and man-made disasters.
- Develop close coordination with Govt. and humanitarian organization to respond to emergencies, early recovery, and long term development.
