Clean Drinking Water Delivered to Earthquake-Affected Families in Upper Dir

ISSP completed a clean drinking water project in Katan Payan, Upper Dir, providing over 80 households with safe water access following the earthquake.

With support from individual donations from the UK, ISSP completed a clean drinking water project in Katan Payan, District Upper Dir, for communities affected by an earthquake. The project included protection of a natural spring's water source, construction of one main water tank and two smaller sub water tanks, and roughly 9,500 sq. feet of pipeline networking. As a result, 83 households — more than 570 individuals — gained access to clean drinking water at their doorstep. This project reflects ISSP's objective of ensuring equitable access to safe and quality basic facilities for disaster-affected communities.
